Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (3/11/13)

目标: I can research and brainstorm ideas for my video project.

功课: Browse through videos, finalize your video genre, and draft your script by Friday.


  1. Please e-mail me or talk to me after school to clarify your questions.  Ms. Chang will strongly suggest you to teach 1) folding paper, or 2) cooking in your DIY video clip.  Make it as simple as possible.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (3/11/13)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about sports in Chinese.  2) I can build a solid grammar foundation through reviewing grammar.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Bring in your PPT slides tomorrow.  3) Complete 3 worksheet by the end of class period tomorrow.


  1. 1) (2P) Return papers (test papers + worksheet).  2) Browse through Lesson Nine.
  2. 1) Teach new characters with terms (喜, 欢/歡, 喜欢/歡, 欢/歡喜, 球, 篮/籃, 网/網, 篮/籃子, 篮/籃球, 网/網球).  2) Conversation questions (I like…, I do not like, Do you like….).
  3. Pair activity: worksheet ó (7P) round robin reading.



Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (3/11/13)

Objectives: 1) I can complete Student Inventory worksheet.  2) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom expectations and daily routines.

Homework: 1) Student Inventory worksheet due tomorrow.  2) Signature slip due: Thursday, 2/14/13.


  1. 1) Sit on your assigned seat.  Get team assignment.  2) Pass out / go over Student Inventory worksheet.  Collect.  3) Pass out / go over Ms. Chang’s classroom expectations.
  2. Go over Ms. Chang’s daily routines.
