Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (3/28/13)

目标: 1) I can write a pen pal letter.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

功课: )1) Preview text passages on bottom of page 57 and entire page 58.  2) Complete all makeup work before the end of today.

程序:

  1. 1) Oral exam ó Study + draft your pen pal letter.  2) Song lyrics testing.  3) Pass back video project w/grade.

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (3/28/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can create a PPT slide about my favorite sports.  2) I can explore enrichment activities.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup work (2P: Jose—character workshop + round robin reading; 7P: Chloe—character worksheet).  2) Work on your PPT slide about your favorite sports.  Collect.  3) Use your checklist as a reference, clean up / trim your PPT project.  Take away all captions and unnecessary English terms (except names and professions / job titles).

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (3/28/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can explore origami.  2) I can understand Chinese counting principle.  3) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese Tai-Chi, Chinese yo-yo and Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers.

Homework: 1) Review Chinese counting principle.  2) Review 20 Chinese characters.  3) Quiz #2: Wednesday, 4/10.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return quiz #1 paper + number character worksheet.  2) Quick review (12 characters).  3) Pass out / go over number table + counting principle.
  2. 1) Count from zero to one hundred.  2) Culture reading: Tai-Chi / Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers.  3) DVD: Chinese yo-yo.
  3. Pass out and prepare origami papers
