Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (3/15/13)

目标: 1) I can create a video presentation with peers by applying what I have learned before.  2) I can sharpen my listening skill through watching video clips.

功课: 1) Video project script due on Monday, 3/18/13.  2) WB page 54 due on Monday.  3) Round robin reading: Wednesday, 3/20/13.  4) Lesson Four chapter test: Friday, 3/22/13.

  1. Finalize and print out your video project script.
  2. Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (3/15/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about favorite sports in Chinese.  2) I can create a skit by applying what I have learned before.  3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese sports schools.

Homework: Chinese character writing assignment.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (足球, 棒球, 木棒, 板球, 木板, 骑车, 骑马, 喜欢/歡, 欢/歡喜, 篮/籃球, 网/網球).  2) Go over answer key to 3 exit slips.  3) Teach new characters (打, 踢, 去, 吧, 最).

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (3/15/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese characters through reading and viewing video clips.  3) I can write simple Chinese picture characters.

Homework: 1) Review 8 learned terms.  2) Complete character writing assignment.

Procedure:,

  1. 1) Makeup work (3P: Nicholos; 5P: Jackson).  Any signature slip?  Return China reading packet.  2) Quick review (Ni Hao, Ni Shi, Wo Shi, Zai Jian).  3) Teach new terms (Zao, Ni Zao, Zao An, Zao Shang Hao).
  2. 1) Culture reading: China (pages 2 + 4 + 5).  Showcase publications.  2)  Video clip: Chinese characters (moon).
  3. Teach Chinese characters (person / people, moon).
