Procedures for 4/11/13

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (4/11/13)

目标: 1) I can comprehend text passages.  2) I can write a pen pal letter.  3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

功课: 1) Draft / finalize your sentences.  Work in Red Lab on next Thursday, 4/18/13.  2) WB page 59.

程序:

  1. 1) Draw a number for your 4Q seat.  Return your slip to Ms. Chang.  2) Simple conversation questions Q/A.  3) Teach sentence patterns (…adjective + 多了, …adjective + 一点儿).  4) Go over WB p. 59 problems.  5) Pass out reading handout.  Independent work.  Go over answer key.
  2. Write your pen pal letter / Ms. Chang translates your letter.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (4/11/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can create an avatar for myself.  2) I can write sentences to describe my body parts.

Homework: Know ten characters by next Monday.

Procedure:

1.   Go to www.voki.com to create your own account first by clicking “Get Voki” on right hand-side of the screen.  Use school e-mail account, please.   Log in to your e-mail to activate it.  Log onto www.voki.com to create your avatar and save your creation under your account.  Write down your user name and password to log in next time.  < no need to make recording and upload your audio file today >

2.   Type sentences about your 10 body parts.  Turn in your copy at the end of the class period.

3.   Draw a number for your 4Q seat.  Write down your name on the slip and give it to Ms. Chang.

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (4/11/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese Terra Cotta Warriors.  3) I can brainstorm ideas about art project.

Homework: Review Chinese counting principle.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (sui).  Return quiz papers.  Makeup work (3P: Ryleigh—12 characters).  2) Teach terms (jia, you, ge ren).  3) Write sentence #3.  4) Read sentences #1-#3.
  2. 1) DVD: Chinese Terra Cotta Warriors.  2) Showcase art project samples.
