Procedures for 4/18/13

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (4/18/13)

目标: 1) I can complete writing a pen pal letter.  2) I can explore cultural enrichment activities.

功课: 1) Practice reading text passages on pages 62-65.  2) WB page 62.  3) Present your story sentences tomorrow.

程序:

1.      1) Type your pen pal letter.  Print out your work.  Turn it in with letters from your pen pals and checklist.

2.      If you are done with your letter, 1) go to I drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, 3rd edition interactive game, click Ni Hao 3, and then play Lessons 5 and 6 review game.  2) Click the following links to research your traveling plans for Lesson Seven (where are your traveling destinations?  How are you going to fly from one place to another place?  How long are you going to stay for each place?  What are scenic spots / tourist attractions that you plan to visit?? www.travelchinaguide.com, and http://www.chinafocustravel.com.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (4/18/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can create a Voki with audio recording.  2) I can create PPT slides to talk about my physical features.  3) I can explore cultural enrichment activities.

Homework: 1) Practice reading text passages on pages 85-86.  2) Practice conversation questions.

Procedure:

1.      1) Ms. Chang passes out checklist for your PPT slides and Voki.  Read it, write your name on it and return it to Ms. Chang.  2) Make recording of your 10 sentences.  Upload to your Voki.  Publish it and specify Ms. Chang’s e-mail address (changj@bbhcsd.org) as recipient.  Voki will send the link to Ms. Chang.

2.      Create your PPT slides with 10 sentences.  Print out your work and turn in.

3.      Click the following links for review game and other enrichment activities: 1) Go to I drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, click 3rd edition, click Ni Hao 1 and then click Lesson Ten interactive game.  2) http://www.digitaldialects.com/Chinese.htm (Digital Dialects: games to review phrases & greetings/phrases & greetings 2, numbers 1-12, 13-20, 10-100, colors, animals, fruit & vegetables, animals, animals2, vocabulary, vocabulary builder ½, & days and months).

     

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (4/18/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can name colors in Chinese.  4) I can explore tangram pieces game.

Homework: 1) Practice reading sentences #1-#7.  2) Quiz #4 (colors): Wednesday, 4/24/13.

Procedure:

1.      1) Makeup work (7P: Kylie, Vlad, Connor, Emma, Austin).  2) Review English address format.  3) Write sentence #7.  4) Read sentences #1-#7.

2.      Pass out flash cards.  Teach colors (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).

3.      Tangram piece game.
