Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (4/25/13)

目标: 1) I can compose a letter with pictures for my pen pals in China.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) I can read text passages fluently.

功课: 1) Round robin reading (page 66) tomorrow.  2) Study for your chapter test.  3) Exit slips due tomorrow.


  1. 1) Turn in your final version pen pal letter.  Pass out culture reading articles + exit slips.  2) Captains check exit slips homework.  Go over answer key.  Collect culture reading articles.  3) Read text passages on page 66.  3) 谷特妮, talk to Ms. Chang, please.  4) Listening activity: WB page 65.  Go over answer key.  5) Go over sentence patterns (一样, A没有B < adjective >).
  2. Go over Conversation Questions handout / Conversation Q/A.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (4/25/13)


Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  2) I can read text passages fluently.  3) I can review and prepare for my chapter test.

Homework: 1) Study for your chapter test: Monday, 4/29/13.  2) Practice reading text passages for tomorrow’s round robin reading.


1.      1) Makeup work (2P: Jacob / Chase; 7P: Tim).  2) Skip Voki creation assignment, please.

2.      Oral exam <=> 1) Go to I drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, click 3rd edition, Ni Hao 1, and then click Lesson Ten for interactive review game.  2) Click the provided links for cultural enrichment videos.


Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (4/25/13)



Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) (3P) I can play game and sing songs in Chinese.  3) I can explore tangram pieces game + puzzle as enrichment activities.

Homework: N/A


  1. 1) Oral presentation (7P: Bryan, Connor, Emma, Austin, Matt, Kylie, Paxton, Jackson).  2) Makeup work—art project (2P: Journey; 7P: Connor).  (5P) Study your other subject tests + work on your homework + read Chinese literature + explore tangram or origami ó Oral presentation.
  2. Game time: Pin the Tail on the Donkey + Simon Says.
