Procedures for 4/29/13

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (4/29/13)

目标: 1) I can understand the requirements for my travel project.  2) I can read text passages fluently.

功课: 1) Lesson Six chapter test tomorrow.  2) Lesson Six character worksheet due tomorrow.


  1. 1) Lockdown drill at the beginning of the 2P.  2) Captains check Lesson Seven character definitions + exit slips.  Go over answer key to exit slips.  Collect all culture reading articles.  2) Return pen pal letter checklist.  Makeup work (乐迪恩, 林凯丽).  Read to Ms. Chang on/before 5/2/13.  3) Makeup work—round robin reading.  4) Group presentation (史安敦, 莫薇芝, 乐迪恩, 益怡湘).
  2. 1) Pass out / go over Lesson Seven handout (China map w/major cities).  2) Showcase sample student work.  3) Round robin reading ó Conversation questions practice.  Questions?



Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (4/29/13)


Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Ten materials.  2) I can work with a partner to review grammars and sentence patterns.  3) I can read text passages fluently.

Homework: N/A


  1. 1) Collect Lesson Ten character worksheets.  2) Captains check Lesson Eleven character definitions.  3) Chinese Club meeting: Friday (5/3) 6A+6B.  Please let Ms. Chang know whether you are coming.  4) Makeup work (2P: Jake; 7P: Chloe).
  2. Lesson Ten chapter test ó Round robin reading + pair activity: unscrambled sentences / grammar corrections worksheets.



Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (4/29/13)


Objectives: 1) I can complete student inventory worksheet.  2) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom expectations and daily routines.

Homework: 1) Student Inventory worksheet.  2) Signature slip: due Friday, 5/3/13.


  1. 1) Sit on your assigned seat.  Get team assignment.  2) Pass out / go over Student Inventory worksheet.  Collect.  3) Pass out / go over Ms. Chang’s classroom expectations.
