Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (4/30/13)

目标: I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Six materials.

功课: 1) Practice conversation questions for oral exam tomorrow.  2) Work in Red Lab tomorrow and Wednesday.

程序:

  1. 1) Due to a revised OAA bell schedule at MS, Ms. Chang won’t be back until 3pm today.  2) Collect Lesson Six character worksheets.  3) Makeup work (乐迪恩—pen pal letter).   4) Collect culture reading articles (乐芝蕾, 哈瑞宁, 益怡湘).  4) Lost your cell phone???
  2. Lesson Six chapter test.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P Chinese I (4/30/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about my food preferences.  2) I can work with a partner to review grammars and sentence patterns.

Homework: Chinese character writing assignment + know new characters by Friday.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return chapter test papers + character writing worksheet.  2) Go over common writing mistakes (眼, 嘴, 巴, 头, 子).  3) Teach new characters (饿, 渴, 喝, 吃, 东, 东西).  4) Video clip (东西).
  2. Makeup work (Jose, Jake, Kyle, Samantha, Louis—written or oral exam + round robin reading + worksheet) ó Unscrambled sentences + Grammar correction worksheet.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (4/30/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom rules and grading policy.  2) I can gain geographical, historical and cultural knowledge about China through reading and viewing video clips.

Homework: 1) Signature slip due: Friday, 5/3/13.  2) China reading packet: due at the end of the class period tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Any signature slips?  Makeup work (Victoria)—Student Inventory worksheet.  (5P) Our 8th graders have to report to their 1st period class and miss our class today.  Please consider to adopt one 8th grader.  3) Finish up Ms. Chang’s classroom rules and grading policy + daily blog.
  2. 1) Pass out and go over China reading packet.  2) Culture reading: culture reading packet page 1.  3) (3P) DVD: Introduction to China and Beijing.
