Procedures for 5/8/13

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (5/8/13)

目标: 1) I can talk about my travel plan.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) I can read text passages fluently.

功课: 1) Practice reading text pages 74-75.  2) Chinese character writing assignment.  3) WB pages 67-68.

程序:

  1. 1) Collect your paragraph.  Work in Red Lab tomorrow.  2) Quick review (旅行, 行李, 旅客, 旅馆, 打算, 中暑, 假人, 暑假, 春假, 寒假, 参加, 这些, 那些, 哪些, 西安, 平安).  3) Teach new terms (海, 上海, 住, 桂林, 玩, 好玩, 地, 方).  4) Go over / Read text passages on page 75.  5) Teach sentence patterns (还有, 还是, 还要, 还没, 过).
  2. Class work: practice conversation questions + practice reading pages 74-75 + do homework pages.  .

 

 

Procedure for HS Chinese I (5/8/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say and write about my food references.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) I can read text passages fluently.

Homework: 1) Practice conversation questions.  2) Practice reading text passages on page 93.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (饿, 渴, 喝, 吃, 东西, 想, 果汁, 水果, 冰淇淋, 冰水, 冰棒, 三明治, 汉堡包 / 汉堡, 热狗, 牛奶).  2) Read text passages on page 93.
  2. 1) Conversation practice.  2) Go over answer key to culture reading articles.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (5/8/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese calligraphy.  3) I can write simple Chinese characters

Homework: 1) Review learned terms.  2) Chinese character writing assignment.  Due tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. (3P) 1) Quick review (12 terms + 5 characters).  2) Teach new terms (Xie Xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi).  3) Practice activity (Xie Xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi).
  2. (5P) Quick review (15 terms + 5 characters).
  3. 1) Teach Chinese characters (water, fire, mouth).  2) DVD / video clip: Chinese calligraphy / (5P) mouth.
