Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (5/9/13)

目标: 1) I can work on my travel plan.  2) I can learn to use photostory software.

功课: Round robin reading (pages 74-75): tomorrow.

程序:

1.   1) Please contact Ms. Chang if your family is interested in hosting an exchange student from Spain.  2) Ms. Chang collects / checks WB pages 67-68.  Return your paragraph.  3) Click the following links, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0oH9qE9qEY (Photostory 3 tutorial for windows) and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLTQfI9K2Fc (for the tutorials of Movie Maker 2.6) to play around.

2.   Insert pictures of places that you plan to visit in your trip.

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (5/9/13)

 

Objectives: I can talk about my food preferences.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Practice conversation questions.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (饿, 渴, 喝, 吃, 东西, 想, 果汁, 水果, 冰淇淋, 冰水, 冰棒, 三明治, 汉堡包 / 汉堡, 热狗, 牛奶).  2) Work in Media Center tomorrow.  3) Teach new characters (菜, 拿, 全, 都, 筷, 筷子).

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (5/9/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can recognize simple Chinese characters.  3) I can explore Chinese folk art of paper cutting.

Homework: Review 19 learned terms.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Collect / return Chinese character writing assignment.  Makeup work (3P: Sneh; 5P: Dolores, Kristen).  2) Quick review (8 characters + 15 terms).  3) Teach new terms (Qi Li, Jing Li, Zuo Xia, Qing Zuo).
  2. 1) DVD: Chinese Paper Cuts / (3P) mouth + fish 2) Class work: cut two paper patterns (longevity + double happiness).  Collect as participation grade.
