Procedures for 5/15/13

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (5/15/13)

目标: 1) I can pack appropriate clothing and necessities for my travel.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

功课: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) WB page 73.

程序:

  1. 1) Work in Media Center Classroom tomorrow to type your itinerary.  2) Quick review (签字, 学生证, 证明, 签证, 照, 护照, 照片, 拍照, 笑, 开玩笑, 俊, 英俊, 相机, 照相机, 照相馆, 带).  3) Captains check WB pages 71-72 & 75.  Go over answer key.  4)  Teach new characters (已经, 不过 = 可是 = 但是, 凉快, 用, 不用, 当然, 担心, 迷路, 出去 ó 回来) + V起来 sentence pattern.
  2. 1) Read text passages on pages 76 & 78.  2) Class work: Conversation questions Q/A + your itinearary + WB homework.

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (5/15/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about my skills of holding chopsticks and cooking Chinese dishes.  2) I can read text passages fluently.  3) I can ask and answer simple conversation question.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Practice conversation questions / reading text passages.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Captains check WB page 76.  Go over the answer key.  2) Quick review (菜, 拿, 全, 都, 筷子, 想, 果汁, 水果, 冰淇淋, 冰水, 冰棒, 三明治, 汉堡包 / 汉堡, 热狗, 牛奶, 饿, 渴, 喝, 吃, 东西).  3) Teach characters (到 = (去 ó 来), 饭, 吃饭, 太, 太太, 别 = 不, 炒, 炒饭).  4) Read text passages on pages 93 / 95.
  2. Conversation questions Q/A.

     

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (5/15/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say and write Chinese number characters. 2) I can explore origami.  Homework: 1) Review learned Chinese number characters.  2) Chinese character writing assignment.  Due tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (8 number characters + 8 picture characters + 25 terms).  2) Teach new terms (nine, ten, zero, hundred).  3) Audio file.
  2. Pass out 2 colored papers.  Make pin wheel / gift box.
