Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (5/16/13)

目标: I can make a detailed itinerary for my travel plan.

功课: 1) WB pages 76-77.  Due next Monday.  2) Round robin reading (pages 76 / 78) tomorrow.  3) Itinerary due tomorrow.


  1. 1) Ms. Chang checks WB page 73.  2) Type your itinerary.




Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (5/16/13)


Objectives: 1) I can read text passages fluently.  2) I can review for final exam.

Homework: Practice conversation questions.  Complete your final oral exam / round robin reading between Monday, 5/20, and Friday, 5/24/13.  Make arrangements with Ms. Chang, please.


  1. 1) Quick review (看, 看书, 到 = (去 ó 来), 饭, 吃饭, 太, 太太, 别 = 不, 菜, 拿, 全, 都, 筷子, 想, 果汁, 水果, 冰淇淋, 冰水, 冰棒, 三明治, 汉堡包 / 汉堡, 热狗, 牛奶, 饿, 渴, 喝, 吃, 东西).  2) Read text passages on pages 93 / 95.  3) Class activity: WB page 74.  Share results.
  2. Review activities (sentence matching, dictation, etc).



Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (5/16/13)


Objectives: 1) I can explore origami art.  2) I can understand the requirements of art project.

Homework: Quiz #1 tomorrow.


  1. 1) Makeup work (3P: Omar, Sneh; 5P: Shaan).  2) Quick review (12 number characters + 8 picture characters + 25 greeting terms).
  2. 1) Pass out / go over art project requirements.  2) Make an origami product: pinwheel.
