Procedues for 5/22/13

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (5/22/13)

目标: 1) I can create a photo story to describe my travel to China.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.

功课: 1) Practice conversation questions.  2) Study for your chapter test on Friday, 5/24.  3) Photostory / Movie project due tomorrow.  3) All oral exam due by the end of this week.

程序:

1.   1) With a revised schedule at MS on Thursday, Ms. Chang will be able to stay at HS from 2P to 10 am and back to HS at 2pm on Thursday.  Please utilize these special time to complete your round robin reading and oral exam.  All round robin + oral exam have to be done by the end of Friday.  No exception.  We will focus on Photostory presentation & chapter test retake next week.  2) Please make short audio file for each picture frame for easy update.  Insert your audio file into project.  Type your final detailed itinerary.  3) Volunteer to take semester oral exam.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (5/22/13)

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  2) I can study for my chapter test.

Homework: 1) Study for your chapter test.  2) Practice reading Lesson Eleven text passages.

Procedure:

1.   1) (2P) Revised schedule at MS tomorrow (field test + concert assembly).  No Chinese class tomorrow.  Please complete your oral exam today.  Get an E/I pass for round robin reading tomorrow.   2) Go over text passages on pages 102/103.  3) Oral exam ó Class work (study, practice reading text passages, oral questions).

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (5/22/13)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers.

Homework: 1) Review counting principle.  2) Quiz #2: Friday, 5/24/13.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (counting).  2) Teach new terms (sheng ri, nian) + Chinese date format.  3) Write sentence #5.  4) Read sentences #1-#5.  Collect draft #1.
  2. 1) Showcase more art project samples (PPT).  2) Culture reading: Chinese lucky + unlucky numbers.
