Objectives: 1) I can explore Chinese yo-yo and hacky sack games.  2) I can enjoy a Chinese musical.

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (6/6/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name colors in Chinese.  2) I can play Chinese game.  3) I can gain culture knowledge about  Chinese martial arts and Chinese yo-yo.  Homework: N/a

Procedure:

1.      1) Quiz #4.  2) Return all handouts / colors flash cards.

2.      1) Game time: Follow the leader.  2) DVD: Chinese yo-yo / Chinese martial arts.  3) DVD: Chinese program in American Schools.  4) Picture time—art projects.

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (6/5/13)

 

Objectives: I can enjoy video segments of a Chinese musical.  2) I can have fun playing game.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

1.      1) Pass out 4th quarter / final grade slip.  Makeup work (textbook).  2) Outdoor activity: Chinese yo-yo / Hacky Sack tomorrow.  3) Write exit slip.

2.      Game time: Follow the leader.  2) Video segments: High School Musical China.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (6/5/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  2) I can gain culture knowledge about Chinese New Year.

Homework: Quiz #4 tomorrow.

Procedure:

1.      1) Makeup work (3P: Jonah; 5P: Jeremy, Ryan, Anja).  Ryan / Jeremy talk to Ms. Chang, please.  2) Quick review (11 colors).  3) Finish up oral presentation.

2.      (3P) Culture reading / DVD: Chinese New Year.

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (6/4/13)

程序:

  1. 1) Locker clean-up at the end of 1P.  2) Be sure to down your eTextbook before Friday.  3) Review activities.
  2. Movie time: High School Musical China.

 

 

Procedure for MS 2P/7P Chinese I (6/4/13)

 

Objectives: I can showcase my mastery of Chinese I curriculum.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return papers.  2) Leave your textbook on the desk for Ms. Chang to collect.  3) Pass out Ni Hao 1 reference packet.
  2. (2P) 1) Write down your name on the first page of the packet.  2) Absolutely no marking on the packet.  3) Return scantron card / grammar correct sheet / packet.  4) 黄可儿 talks to Ms. Chang, please.
  3. (7P) 1) Check to see whether there is any marking on the packet.  2) Welcome to make any notes on the packet.  3) Tear off the last page (grammar correction sheet) from the packet.  4) Return scantron card / grammar correction sheet / packet.

 

 

Procedure for MS 3P/5P Exploratory Chinese (6/4/13)

 

Objectives: I can talk about myself in Chinese.

Homework: Quiz #4: Thursday, 6/6/13.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Return quiz #3 papers.  2) Quick review (11 colors).  3) Read 10 sentences.  4) Makeup work (3P: Mark, Jonah, Sneh; 5P: Ryan, Jeremy, Anja)
  2. Oral presentation ó do homework / read books / play tangram pieces game.

Procedure for HS 1P Chinese III (6/3/13)

目标: 1) I can review for my final.  2) I can enjoy a Chinese musical movie.

功课: Study for your final.

程序:

  1. 1) Any exam permission form?  哈瑞宁, 林凯丽, 葛沛思, and 麦珠莉talk to Ms. Chang, please.  2) Return papers / project / Makeup work (麦珠莉, 柏莉雅, 史安敦, 苏丽雯, 李白丝, 乐迪恩, 甘博力, 卡蕾秋; 乐芝蕾).  3) Return your textbook on/before Friday, 6/7/13.  4) Ms. Chang won’t be at HS on Wednesday and Thursday, 6/5-6/6.  Please e-mail Ms. Chang with any questions / concerns you have.  5) Be able to access PB?  Check PB for accuracy.
  2. 1) Writing Practice.  2) Movie comprehension checking.  3) Video clip.

Objectives: 1) I can create an art project with 10 Chinese terms.  2) I can talk about myself in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Practice reading your 10 sentences.  2) Oral presentation starts tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Ms. Chang checks each student’s art project.  5) Present your work, if interested.
  2. 1) Culture reading: Chinese food ó showcase cook books.  2) (3P) DVD: Chinese silk / embroidery.  Showcase silk cocoon.  3) (5P) DVD: Chinese New Year.
