Procedures for 9/4/13

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P/2P/8P (9/4/13)


Objectives: 1) I can discriminate / blend consonants and vowels.  2) (1P + 2P) I can define / locate China’s autonomous regions.

Homework: 1) Review learned syllables with  2) Quiz #1 (bpmf): Monday, 9/9/13.


1.      1) (1P/2P) Collect Chinese character writing assignment + (8P: Tyler, Sean: China reading packet; 8P: Bryan, Luke, Sean, Emily: Learning style result).  2) (8P) Check school supplies (Samantha, Grace, Sydney, Grant, Erica, Stephanie, Luke, Rosa, Jenna, Rianna).  3) Pass out workbook + textbook to those who have jumbo-size book cover.  Sign on Textbook Inventory sheet.  4) Share student expectations of Ms. Chang / classmates / interested topics.   5) Chinese Club application form?? 6) Surprise??

2.      1) Dictation (m section).  2) Teach f section.  3) Practice reading syllables.

3.      (1P + 2P) DVD: autonomous regions.





Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/4/13)


Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms.  2) I can gain cultural, historical and geographical knowledge about China, Chinese characters and Chinese language.

Homework: Review 27 learned greeting terms.


1.      1) Return papers.  2) Quick review (24 terms).  3) Teach new terms (Dui bu qi, mei guan qi, tong xue men hao).

2.      1) Culture reading: pages 1-2.  2) DVD: Chinese characters.
