Procedures for 9/16/13

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P/2P/8P (9/16/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can discriminate and blend consonants / vowels.  2) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.

Homework: Review learned greeting terms and syllables.

Procedure:

1.      1) Opening greetings.  Collect your learning style result for the portfolio.  Ideas for / interest in teaching children / young students at the library?  Bring in your textbook tomorrow.  Missing goals-setting form (1P: Giovanna; 2P: Taylor, Cameron, Jake, Patricia; 8P: Tina).  2) Captains check WB pages 4 & 8.  Go over the answer key.  3) Quick review (greetings).  4) Teach greeting terms (Tong Xue Men Hao, Dong le ma, Dong Le, Bu Dong).  5) Go over g / k sections.

2.      1) Quiz #2.  2) (1P) Pair activity: blend sounds.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/16/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can explore Chinese folding paper.  2) I can count from zero to one hundred.  3) I can recognize number and picture characters.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

1.      1) (3P) Return papers.  2) Quick review (12 number characters + 8 picture characters).  3) Counting from zero to one hundred.  4) Make second origami product (gift box).  Collect as participation grade.

2.      Quiz #2.
