Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P/2P/8P (9/25/13)


Objectives: 1) I can discriminate / blend vowels and consonants.  2) I can say and write numbers in Chinese. 3) I can acquire cultural knowledge about Chinese pronunciation.

Homework: Review learned syllables and number characters.


1.      1) Opening routine.  Turn in makeup work—goal setting form, please (1P: Bradley, Sara, Lexi, Josh, Aaron; 2P: Taylor, James, Shaan, Bryce, Grant; 8P: Bryan).  Update the status about our library program.  2) Dictation (h, j).  Sound out loud (h, j).  3) (8P) Quick review (1, 2, 3, 4).  4) Culture reading: text pages 4-6.

2.      Go over q / x sections.



Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/25/13)


Objectives: 1) I can talk about my preference of sports in Chinese.  2) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project.  3) I can say colors in Chinese.  4) I can utilize a website tool to type pinyin for my art project.

Homework: 1) Work on your art projects.  2) Practice reading sentences #1-#9. 3) Quiz #4 (colors): Thursday, 10/3/13.


1.      1) Quick review (4 colors).  2) Teach terms (lan se, lv se, zi se, zong se).  3) Teach typing Pinyin with a website tool,

2.      1) Pass out / go over handout for sports.  2) Write sentence #9.  Read sentences #1-#9.  3) Showcase more art project samples (drawings / PPTs).
