Procedure:
1. 1) Opening routine. Weekend Library service learning? Return Mid-Autumn worksheet. Fix mistakes and resubmit for full credit, please. 2) Class activity: blending sounds. 3) Self-Assessment. 4) Text pages 4-5. Showcase Chinese publications.
Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/20/13)
Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese tea.
Homework: 1) Art project due: Tuesday, 10/1/13. 2) Oral presentation: Wednesday / Thursday, 10/2 and 10/3. New rotation starts on Monday, 10/7/13. 3) Quiz #3 (Connecting the Dots): Monday, 9/23/13.
Procedure:
1. 1) (5P) Return quiz #2 papers + draft #1. Practice reading sentences #1-#5. 2) Counting from zero to one hundred. 3) Review phone number and address format. 4) Teach terms (dian hua, hao ma, zhu zhi). 5) Write sentences #6-#7. (3P) Collect draft #1.
2. 1) Video clip: Chinese tea. 2) Showcase tea set and tea.
