Procedures for 10/4/13

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (10/4/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can discriminate / blend consonants and vowels.  2) I can say and write numbers.

Homework: 1) Review learned syllables, number characters and counting principle.  2) WB page 19.  4) Quiz #5 (zh, ch, sh, z, c, s, r): Monday, 10/7/13.

Procedure:

1.      1) (Victor, Justin) talk to Ms. Chang, please.  2) Ms. Chang collects / checks WB pages 15-16.  3) Quick review (1-10, 0, hundred).

2.      Pair activity: 1) Phone number dictation.  2)  Sight-reading: text page 18.  3) Composite numbers.  4) Sound out syllables (zh, ch, sh, z, c, s, r).  5) Try out multiple game.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (10/4/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can play games to review Chinese.  2) I can learn culture knowledge about Chinese teenagers’ pastime activities, Chinese cram school and Chinese popular sports.

Homework: N/A

Procedure:

1.      1) Makeup work (5P: Abigail, Brandon).  2) Culture reading: Cram Schools / Popular Pastime for Teens in China / 6 popular sports in China.  3) Chinese rap music.  4) Review learned Chinese terms.

2.      Game time: Follow the Leader.
