Procedures for 10/14/13

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (10/14/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of numbers.  2) I can say and sight read math equations fluently and accurately.

Homework: 1) Lesson Two character worksheet definitions (textbook page 12).  2) Finish speaking / sight reading part of your chapter test by Wednesday.  3) Quiz #7 (compound vowels 1): Monday, 10/21/13.

Procedure:

1.      1) Opening routine.  Collect Lesson Three character worksheet.  (2P: Jake, Patricia, Marco) talk to Ms. Chang, please.  2) Pass out Lesson Two character worksheet.  3) Chapter test.

2.      1) Practice reading sentences / flash cards.  2) (2P) Start sight reading / speaking part at E/I today.  Ms. Chang will be at study hall at 6A/6B to work with 8P students tomorrow.  1P students will work with Ms. Chang before HR from tomorrow.  Any one is welcome to take it before or after school.  Complete it before the end of Wednesday.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (10/14/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can write simple Chinese characters.  3) I can gain cultural knowledge about how characters evolve through viewing video clips.

Homework: 1) Review 14 learned terms.  2) Chinese character writing assignment.  3) Quiz #1 moves to Wednesday, 10/23/13:

Procedure:

1.     1) (3P) Return China reading packet.  7 Gold field trip tomorrow.  2) Quick review (9 terms + 2 characters).

2.      1) Teach new terms (Xie Xie, Bu Xie, Bu Ke Qi, Wu An, Wan An).  2) Teach Chinese characters (people / person, wood, mouth).  3) Video clips: (moon, person, wood).
