Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (10/21/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / read / comprehend / write about Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can introduce myself and other people.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Review learned syllables.  3) Practice reading text passages.

Procedure:

1.      1) Opening routine.  Work in media center tomorrow.  Sign up for Chinese Club meeting at 6P on Thursday, 10/24.  Makeup work (8P: Sara—Lesson Three character worksheet / Lesson Two definitions / Lesson Three oral part / quiz #7).  2) Quick review (你好, 我是,你是,再见, 你们, 我们, 他们, 她们).  3) Pass out / go over Compound Vowels 2 handout (iao, ua) sections / (8P) (iao) section only. 3) Teach new characters (, , , , ) / (2P) (, , ) only.  4) (1P/2P) Read text passage on page 7.

2.      Quiz #7.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (10/21/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say / write numbers in Chinese.  2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese paper-cut.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Study for your quiz #1 on Wednesday, 10/23/13.

Procedure:

1.      1) 7R field trip tomorrow.  Return papers (8 picture characters).  Makeup work (3P: Alana).  Quick review (28 terms + 8 characters).  2) Teach numbers (1-4).

2.      1) Video clip: Chinese paper-cut.  2) Pass out / work on longevity paper cut pattern.
