Procedure for MS Chinese I 8P (10/29/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can blend / discriminate consonants and vowels.  2) I can comprehend / read / say / write greeting terms.  3) (1P / 2P) I can learn and have hands-on experience about Wu Bu Quan.

Homework: 1) Review learned syllables.  2) Chinese character writing assignment.  3) Lesson Two chapter test: Monday, 11/4/13.

Procedure:

1.      1) Opening routine.  Sit on your new seat.  (HR) Student fee?  Choose your new captain.  2) Quick review (老师, 同学, 你好, 我是,你是,再见, 你们, 我们, 他们, 她们, 白大伟, 李兰兰).  3) Dictation (un, uan) sections.  4) Go over (y, w) sections.  5) Pass out / go over Lesson Two chapter test study guide.

2.      Teach new characters (, , , ).

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (10/29/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can count from zero to one hundred in Chinese.  2) I have hands-on experience about Chinese finger guessing game.  3) I can talk / write about myself in Chinese.

Homework: 1) Review 20 learned Chinese characters + Chinese counting principle.  2) Quiz #2 (20 characters): tomorrow, 10/29.  3) Quiz #3 (connecting the dots): Monday, 11/4/13.  Art project due: Tuesday, 11/12/13.  Oral presentation: Wednesday (11/13/13) & Thursday (11/14/13).

Procedure:

1.      1) (3P) Return Quiz #1 papers.  Quick review (12 number characters + 8 picture characters).  2) Count from zero to one hundred.

2.      1) Teach (sui).  2) Write sentence #2.  3) Read sentences #1-#2.  4) Culture reading: China pages 3-4 + Chinese finger guessing game.  Showcase Chinese seals.  4) Chinese finger guessing game tournament.
