Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (10/31/13)

Objectives: 1) I can play interactive game to review my chapter test.  2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese name, family, and making / flying a kite.  3) I can utilize chanting to retain my Chinese learning.  4) I can introduce myself and others.    

Homework: 1) Review learned syllables.  2) WB pages 11-12.


  1. 1) Ms. Chang checks WB pages 10 / 13 (for 8P only).  2) Go to I drive, click Ms. Chang’s folder, click Ni Hao games, click 3rd edition, click Ni Hao 1 games, log in with your name as user name and any key input as password, and click Lesson Two to activate the game.  Click high-level thinking skill game to try.  3) Play Quizlet online flash cards, http://quizlet.com/3629391/ni-hao-1-lesson-2-vocabulary-flash-cards/.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (10/31/13)


Objectives: 1) I can count from zero to one hundred in Chinese.  2) I can talk / write about myself in Chinese.  3) I can have hands-on experience with origami.

Homework: 1) Practice reading sentences #1-#4.  2) Review counting principle.


1.      1) Makeup quiz (3P: Madison; 5P: John Andrew).  2) Count from zero to one hundred.

2.      1) Teach (baba, mama, gege, jiejie, meimei, didi, liang, he).  2) Write sentence #4.  3) Read sentences #1-#4.  4) Pass out colored paper and explore origami.
