Procedures for 11/12/13

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (11/12/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can sight read pinyin sentences fluently with accurate intonation and tones.  2) I can identify people, welcome and invite people to come in.  3) I can ask about and state ages.  4) I can apply what I learn to create and perform a skit with a partner.

Homework: 1) Practice reading pinyin sentences + text passages. 2) Practice conversation questions.  3) Quiz #9: Friday, 11/15.  4) Lesson Four chapter test: Friday, 11/22/13.  5) Finalize your skit.

Procedure:

1.      1) Opening routine.  Field trip permission slip (2P: Shaan, Jake, Patricia; 8P: Bryan).  (Emma, James, Shaan, Abigail, Grant, Sydney, Logan, Tyler, Miles) talk to Ms. Chang, please.  Work in media center tomorrow to type your skit.  Kite status??  2) Teach ().  Quick review (谢谢, 今年, 今天, 明年, 明天, , 一天, 一年, 两天, 两年, , , , 请进, , 马克, 欢迎).  3) Read text passages on pages 23-25 + Q/A session.

2.      1) Go over Review Sounds 1 handout (#1-#3).  2) Pair work: finalize your skit.

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (11/12/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can apply what I have learned to create an art project.  2) I can talk / write about myself in Chinese.  3) I can say colors in Chinese.  3) I can explore tangram pieces game.

Homework: 1) Oral presentation starts from tomorrow, 11/13/14.  2) Quiz #4: Thursday, 11/14/13.

Procedure:

1.      1) Quick review (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se, lan se, lv se, zi se, zong se, cheng se, fen hong se, hui se).  2) Read sentences #1- #10.

2.      Turn in your art project.  Present your art project, if interested ó study hall time + pass out / explore tangram pieces.
