Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (12/3/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of reading sentences fluently with accurate intonation and tones.  2) I can review sentence patterns and gain cultural knowledge about Chinese inventions through view video clips.

Homework: 1) Practice reading Review Sounds 2 handout sentences #1-#6.   2) Know learned characters by tomorrow.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (12/3/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms.  2) I can explore Chinese folk art of paper cut patterns.  3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese publications.

Homework: Review 26 greeting terms.

Procedure:

1.      1) Quick review (23 terms + 8 characters).  2) Teach new terms (dui bu qi, mei guan xi, tong xue men hao).

2.      1) Hands-on activity: cut double happiness.  Collect as participation grade.  2) Culture reading: China page 4.  Showcase Chinese traditional and contemporary publications.
