Procedures for 12/6/13

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (12/6/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions (positive, negative, possessive, question).  2) I can sight read pinyin sentences fluently with correct intonation and tone.  3) I can identify school supplies and daily objects.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment.  2) Practice reading text passages + Review Sounds 2 handout sentences #1-15.

Procedure:

1.      1) (HR) Collect canned food items.  Opening routine.  Collect 25¢ for cooking lesson.  (1P / 8P) Pass out “Bow with hands Clasped” & “Taboos When Saying Good-bye” w/exit slips.  Collect at the end of the class period.  8P students cooking lesson: 6P on Monday, 12/9/13.  1P/2P students cooking lesson: 1P/6P on Wednesday, 12/11/13.  Please turn in your list of 4 students to Ms. Chang.  8P students, circle your name on the seating chart, please.  2) Quick review (刀子, , 剪刀, , , 书包, , , 橡皮, , , 谁的, , , 毛笔, , , , , 什么) + reading sentences #1-#12 + Q/A.  3) Teach sentences #13-#15. 4) Read text passages on pages 32-35.

2.      Teach new characters (, , 知道, 大道, , 一概, 大概, , 客人, , 客气, 生气, 大气, 天气, 小气, 学生).  2) Conversation questions Q/A.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (12/6/13)

 

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of greeting terms.  2) I can say and write numbers in Chinese.  3) I can explore and hold chopsticks to pick up Cheerios.

Homework: Review learned number terms.

Procedure:

1.      1) (5P): Tyler, Tom, Aidan, Sam, J.C., and Anthony talk to Ms. Chang, please.  Quick review (8 Chinese characters + 8 number characters).  2) Teach terms (nine, ten, zero, hundred).  Collect Chinese character writing assignment.

2.      1) Quiz #1.  2) Chopsticks practice.
