Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (2/27/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about my nationality.  2) I can read text passages fluently.  3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  4) I can apply grammar knowledge to rearrange scrambled sentences.  5) I can sharpen my listening comprehension skill through viewing video clips.  6) I can recognize Chinese characters proficiently.

Homework: 1) Map of Countries worksheet (part 2) due tomorrow.  2) Scrambled sentences worksheet due tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine.  Pass out / go over scrambled sentences worksheet.  2) Quick review (新西兰, 新西兰人, 汉人, 汉语, 语文, 英语, 日语, 德语, 加拿大, 加拿大人, 中文, 英文, 德文, 本, 本子, 一本书, 日本, 日文, 日本人, 中国, 中国人, 美国, 美国人, 英国, 英国人, 德国, 德国人, 哪国人, 哪个人, 哪只狗, 哪只猫, 哪只鸟, 哪匹马, 哪条鱼, 哪一个, 哪本书).  3)  Read text passages pages 66-67.  4) Recognizing Chinese characters (Lessons 6-7).  5) Listening activity.
  2. 1) Conversation question practice.  Q/A.  2) Class work: Scrambled sentences worksheet.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (2/27/14)

 

Objectives: I can talk about myself.

Homework: Quiz #4 tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (11 colors).  Makeup work (5P: Tom A., Tom G., Diante, Ian).  2)  Volunteer / Randomly draw students to present ó study hall time + Mind bender + puzzles.
