Procedures for 3/4/14

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (3/4/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about nationality and language skills.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) (1P) I can sharpen my listening skills through viewing video clips.  4) I can read text passages fluently.

Homework: 1) Practice reading text passages.  2) Practice conversation questions.

Procedure:

1.      1) Opening routine.  Captains check WB page 51.  Go over answer key.  2) Quick review (对, 不对, , 对不起, 一起, 关系, 没关系, , 一点儿, 澳大利亚, , 请问, , 新西兰, 新西兰人, , 汉人, 汉语, 语文, 英语, 日语, 德语, 加拿大, 加拿大人, 中文, 英文, 德文, , 本子, 一本书, 日本, 日文, 日本人, 中国, 中国人, 美国, 美国人, 英国, 英国人, 德国, 德国人).  3) Read text passages on pages 66-69.

2.      1) Conversation questions Q/A modeling.  2) Writing practice.  3) Listening activity: WB page 50 Section B.  Go over answer key.  4) Character recognition practice.  5) (1P) Video clips + comprehension check.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (3/4/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can understand Ms. Chang’s classroom rules and grading policy.  2) I can understand the requirements to complete the China reading packet.  3) I can gain geographic knowledge about China.

Homework: 1) China reading packet due in class on Thursday (3/6/14).  2) Signature slip due: Friday, 3/7/14.

Procedure:

1.      1) Any signature slip?  Pass out / Go over Ms. Chang’s classroom rules / grading policy.  2) Pass out and go over China reading packet.

2.   Video clips: Introduction to China + (5P) Beijing.
