Procedures for 4/10/14

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (4/10/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name body parts in Chinese.  2) I can review grammar and sentence patterns for semester exam.  3) I can sharpen my speaking fluency and listening comprehension skill through conversation practice.  4) I can sight read Chinese character with accuracy and proficiency.  5) I can sing Chinese songs.

Homework: Review learned Chinese characters.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine.  Captains checks grammar review worksheet.  Makeup work (2P: Natalia—test + worksheet; Jake—definitions + worksheet + WB; 8P: Emily—worksheet + WB + test; Logan / Grant–worksheet).  2) Quick review.  Go over key to the grammar review worksheet.
  2. 1) Pair activity: conversation practice.  2) Character recognition (lessons 2-9).  3) Song time.

 

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (4/10/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name colors in Chinese.  2) I can name popular animals in Chinese.  3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese martial arts and Chinese yo-yo.

Homework: Quiz #4: tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (11 colors).  2) Pass out / go over animal handout.
  2. 1) Video clips: Chinese martial arts / Chinese yo-yo.  2) 3) Showcase Chinese yo-yo + hacky sack.
