Procedures for 4/11/14

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (4/11/14)


Objectives: 1) I can name body parts in Chinese.  2) (8P) I can name popular sports and my daily sports schedule.  3) I can practice my semester oral exam.  4) I can sing Chinese songs and say Chinese tongue twisters.

Homework: 1) Review learned Chinese characters.  2) Chinese character writing assignment.


  1. 1) Opening routine.  Quick review.  2) Teach new characters (鼻子, 嘴巴, 下巴, 朋友, 好朋友, 老朋友, 小朋友, 男朋友, 女朋友).
  2. 1) (8P) Go over supplementary sports terms + Spinning wheel activity.  2) Song time + Tongue Twisters:  3) Conversation modeling.  4) (1P / 2P) Movie ping pong video clip.



Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (4/11/14)


Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of colors.  2) I can talk about my preferences of animals, colors, and sports.  3) I can name sports in Chinese.  4) I can have hands-on experience making folding paper.  5) (5P) I can brain storm ideas for my art project through viewing sample work.

Homework: N/A


  1. 1) Quick review (11 colors).  2) Quiz #4.
  2. 1) Pass out / go over supplementary sports handout.  2) Teach terms (xi huan, zui).  3) Write sentences #8-10.  Read sentences #6-10.  Collect.
  3. 1) Complete origami product #2 (gift box).  2) (5P) Showcase sample art project work (video, craft).
