Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (4/23/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can play interactive games to prepare for my chapter test and review for my final exam.  2) I can create PPT slides for my year-end project.  3) I can create an avatar to describe my physical description.  4) I can learn Chinese songs through watching video clips

Homework: 1) PPT body part description / sport slides printout due Thursday, 4/24/14.  2) Lesson Ten chapter test: Friday, 4/25/14.  3) Lessons Nine + Ten oral exam: Monday, 4/28/14.  4) Voki creation due: Monday, 4/28/14.

Procedure:

  1. Please correct your draft and transfer your sentences to make PPT slides.
  2. 1) Click the link to Quizlet Lesson Ten flash card review game, http://quizlet.com/3629729/ni-hao-1-lesson-10-vocabulary-flash-cards/.  2) Go to I drive, click Chang folder, click Ni Hao game, 3rd edition, log in to play Ni Hao interactive game to review Lesson 10.  3) Follow the instructions on Voki handout and play around the utility.  Create an account and create an initial Voki representing yourself.   4) Please take one microphone and follow audacity instructions handout to make a recording of your body parts description.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (4/23/14)

 

Objective: 1) I can apply what I have learned in Chinese class and create an art project.  2) I can have hands-on experience with tangram pieces game.  3) I can gain cultural knowledge about China, Chinese food, and Chinese table etiquette.

Homework: Oral presentation starts tomorrow.

Procedure:

1.   1) Bring in your work today-Friday.  No locker break.  Ms. Chang collects / checks individual art project.  ó Study hall time + tangram pieces game (day 2) + browsing through Chinese books.  2) Showcase master project from our classmates.

2.   1) Video clips: (3P) Bilingual Cat + Be Tough + Barking fish + Chinese table manners.  2) Culture reading: Chinese table etiquette.
