Procedures for 4/30/14

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (4/30/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can name common food items.  2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.  3) I can review grammar through working on a scrambled sentences worksheet.  Homework: Complete your scrambled sentences worksheet.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine.  Turn in your paragraph printout, please.  Makeup work (1P: Emma—Voki + oral; Aaron; 2P: Jamie, Marco, Natalia, Jake–Voki; 8P: Tina—Voki + oral, Tyler–PPT).  Problems with Voki => work with our expert group.  2) Quick review (饿, 渴, 喝, 吃, 堡, 治, 汉堡, 汉堡包, 三明治).  3) (1P) Overview of Lesson Eleven.
  2. 1) Pass out / go over Lesson Eleven conversation questions handout.  3) Pass out scrambled sentences worksheet.  4)  Class activity: worksheet + Conversation questions practice (lessons 6-10).

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (4/30/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can gain geographical, historical and political knowledge about China.  2) I can learn basic Pinyin system.

Homework: China reading packet due tomorrow.

Procedure:

1.      1) Any signature slip?  2) Pass out and go over the Introduction to Chinese Pinyin handout.

2.     1) (5p) Video clip: Shanghai.  2) Pair / Independent class work time: China reading packet.  Turn it in if you are done with it.
