Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (5/9/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms and classroom expressions.  2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese table etiquette, Chinese chopsticks and signature food items.  3) I can hold and use chopsticks to pick up food.

Homework: Review learned terms / characters.  Quiz #1: Tuesday, 5/13/14.

Procedure:

1.      1) Quick review (24 terms + 8 characters).  2) Teach new terms (Dui Bu Qi, Mei Guan Xi).

2.      1) Video clips: chopsticks + tofu + roast duck + dumplings + noodles + hot pot.  2) Culture reading: Chinese food / Chinese Table Etiquette.  3) Class activity: Chopsticks practice.
