Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (5/21/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of asking and answering simple conversation questions.  2) I can review and prepare my chapter test by playing interactive games.  3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese signature food items through viewing video clips.

Homework: 1) WB pages 79-80.   2) Study for your Lesson Eleven chapter test.  3) Turn in your PPT and skit printouts w/checklists on Friday, 5/23/14.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (5/21/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself.  2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers.  3) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project through viewing PPT art project samples.  4) I can utilize a website utility to enter Chinese pinyin and characters.

Homework: 1) Review counting principle.  2) Brainstorm your ideas for your art project.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Teach (sheng ri, nian, yue, ri). 2) Compare and contrast Chinese and English date formats.  3) Write sentence #5.  Collect.      (3P) Write sentence #6.
  2. 1) Showcase PPT art project samples.  2) Culture reading: Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers.  Showcase a picture of elevator with 4th floor.  3) Log onto to www.mdbg.net to learn to type pinyin and Chinese characters.
