Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 2P / 8P (5/22/14)

 

Objectives: I can prepare for my chapter test and semester exam.

Homework: 1) Study for Lesson Eleven chapter test tomorrow.  2) Skit and PPT printouts w/checklists and Lesson Eleven character worksheet due tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Opening routine.  Concert Assembly bell schedule today (1P-2P-3P-8P-4P-5P-6P-7P).  30 minutes / period.  Tuesday, 5/27: Listening + Writing; Wednesday, 5/28: Grammar + Rearrange sentences + MC (reading + culture reading + grammar).  (1P/8P) Ms. Chang checks WB pages 79-80.  (2P) Ms. Chang checks WB pages 76-77, & 79-80.  2) (1P/2P) Lesson Twelve text passages on page 102.  3) Complete Grammar Correction worksheet.  4) Go over semester exam study guide.
  2. Writing practice.

 

 

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (5/22/14)

 

Objectives: 1) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese rock-scissors-paper game.  2) I can talk about myself in Chinese.  3) I can name colors in Chinese.  4) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project.

Homework: Review counting principle and 10 number characters.  Quiz #3: tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Makeup (3P: Erika, Michael, Nikko; 5P: Jimmy, Winter).  Return draft #1 and quiz #2 paper.   2) Pass out color flash cards.  Teach (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).  3) (5P) Teach term (dian hua hao ma).  Write sentence #6.
  2. 1) Culture reading: Chinese finger guessing game.  2) Showcase more art project samples (video, singing, lego, craft).
