Procedures for 9/11/14

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (9/11/14)

Objectives: 1) I can blend / discriminate consonants / vowels. 2) I can say / read / write numbers in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Review consonants / vowels & learned Chinese number characters. 2) Chinese character writing assignment. 3) Quiz #1 tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. 2) Daily dictation (greeting, blending, numbers). 3) Teach new characters (five, six, seven, eight).
2. 1) Go over answer key to China reading packet #1. 2) Pair activity: a) Label rivers / major cities / major regions in a map of China. b) Pronunciation (greeting terms + bpmf). c) Dictation (numbers).

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/11/14)

Objectives: 1) I can read / writing / say numbers in Chinese. 2) I can explore Chinese folk art of cutting paper patterns.
Homework: 1) Quiz #1 tomorrow. 2) Chinese character writing assignment. 3) Review learned characters.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return writing assignment. Make up work (3P: aiden, Natalie).
2. 1) Quick review (greeting terms + characters). 2) Teach numbers (one, two, three, four). 3) Complete paper-cutting patters. Collect.
