Procedures for 9/25/14

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (9/25/14)

Objectives: 1) I can blend / discriminate consonants / vowels. 2) I can prepare my chapter test through playing review game and culture reading.
Homework: 1) Review consonants / vowels (q / x) & learned Chinese operator characters. 2) Unit #1 chapter test tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. (HR) 8th grade Panoramic picture day is Thursday, 10/2/14 immediately following announcements. Return the order from anytime you are done with order form. 2) Daily dictation (blending). 3) Teach gkhjqx handout sections 5 & 6.
2. 1) Go over text pages 1-6. 2) Review game.

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (9/25/14)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can say colors in Chinese. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese yo-yo. 4) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project.
Homework: Quiz #4 (colors): Wednesday, 10/1/14.
Procedure:
1. 1) Teach terms (baba, mama, gege, didi, jiejie, meimei, he, liang). 2) Write sentences #4. 3) Read sentences #1-#4. 4) Pass out color flash cards and teach colors (hong se, huang se, hei se, bai se).
2. 1) Showcase art project PPT samples. 2) Video clip: Chinese yo-yo.
