Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (10/2/14)

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of consonants (gkhjqx). 2) I can express and solve math equations. 3) I can read text passages fluently. 4) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese hand gestures for numbers. 5) I can play online interactive game to review Chinese characters.
Homework: 1) Get familiar with Chinese sign language for numbers. 2) Quizlet: http://quizlet.com/3629469/ni-hao-1-lesson-3-vocabulary-flash-cards/.  3) Field trip survey due tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. (HR) Any school fee payment? Turn in your retake application form + retake self-correction work. No retake if you have any missed assignments (WB, definitions, survey, etc.)!!. Retake will have questions not shown on your chapter test.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (10/2/14)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can say sports terms in Chinese. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese language programs in America.
Homework: Art project is due on Tuesday, 10/7 and oral presentation starts on 10/8/14.
Procedure:
1. 1) Return quiz #4 papers. Makeup work (5P: Chase). (3P) Return animals handout. 2) Teach new terms (xi huan, zui).
2. 1) Go over sports supplementary terms handout. 2) Write sentences #8-#10. 3) Read sentences #1-#10. Collect.
3. Video clip: Chinese language program in America.
