Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (10/29/14)

Objectives: 1) I can greet and introduce people properly. 2) I can ask and answer questions about age and identity. 3) I can create a skit with a partner.
Homework: 1) Review learned characters. 2) Chinese character writing assignment.
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Captains check Lesson Four character definitions. Return your chapter test papers / quiz papers. 2) Teach new characters (几, 岁, 谁). 3) (1P/8P) Class activity: practice sounding out multi-syllable words. 4) Go over Lesson Two Oral Exam Checklist.
2. While Ms. Chang conducts oral exam  pair activity—brainstorm your skit script.


Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (10/29/14)

Objectives: 1) I can read / writing / say numbers in Chinese. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese rock, scissors, and paper game. 3) I can play Chinese rock, scissors, and paper game.
Homework: Review learned picture and number characters.
1. 1) Quick review (16 characters). 2) Teach numbers (nine, ten, ling, hundred). Collect. 3) Audio / video files: numbers / number rapping.
2. 1) Culture reading: Chinese Rock, Scissors, and Paper game. 2) Game time.
