Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (11/19/14)

Objectives: 1) I can sight read pinyin sentences fluently and accurately. 2) I can name common school supplies. 3) I can use Chinese negative word, possessive particle and confirmation question word to express myself. 3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.
Homework: 1) Practice reading pinyin sentences #1-#15. 2) Chinese character writing assignment. 3) Practice oral exam questions. 4) Vocabulary quiz (22 characters): Thursday: 12/4/14.
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. 2) Daily writing practice. 3) Class activity: read sentences #1-#10.
2. 1) Teach new characters (吗, 不, 的, 书, 笔). 2) Teach sentences #11-#15.


Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (11/19/14)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can gain general information about China through viewing various authentic or non-authentic literature works.
Homework: 1) Present your oral presentation tomorrow, if you haven’t done so today. 2) Art project is due on Friday.
1. If no one volunteers, Ms. Chang will call on individual student to deliver your oral presentation  independent work: 1) Practice your oral presentation. 2) Study hall time. 3) Read Chinese books. 4) Work on mind bender worksheets, puzzles, or tangram pieces game.
