Procedures for 12/3/14

Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (12/3/14)

Objectives: 1) I can sight read pinyin sentences and text passages fluently and accurately. 2) I can use Chinese negative word, possessive particle and confirmation question word to construct sentences. 3) I can comprehend text passages.
Homework: 1) Practice reading pinyin sentences #1-#10. 2) Lesson Six character definitions. 3) A family picture: due on Monday, 12/15/14.
Procedure:
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. (HR) Collect canned food. Captains collect WB. 2) Daily writing practice (sentences). 3) Class activity: read sentences #1-#5 / (1P) go over text passages.
2. 1) Teach Review Sounds 2 handout #6-#10. 2) Go over Lesson Five chapter Test Study Guide.

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (12/3/14)

Objectives: 1) I can understand what Hanyu pinyin is. 2) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms. 2) I can work independently or with a partner to complete China reading packet.
Homework: 1) China reading packet due at the end of class today. 2) Review 2 learned greeting terms. 3) Signature slip is due tomorrow.
Procedure:
1. 1) Any signature slips? 2) Go over Hanyu pinyin handout. 3) Teach term (Ni Hao, Ni Shi).
2. Pair / independent work: China reading packet. Collect!!
