Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (12/15/14)

Objectives: 1) I can sight read pinyin sentences fluently and accurately. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about various topics about China. 3) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.
Homework: 1) Know all 11 learned Chinese characters. 2) Family picture is due today.
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. (1P: Phoebe, Isabella, Grace; 4P: Eric C.) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Turn in all retake form by the end of the class period, please. Turn in your culture exit slips & culture articles by the end of the class period. 2) Read sentences #1-#22. 3) While Ms. Chang conducts Review Sounds2 oral exam <=>  a) Complete culture exit slips. b) Complete Voki creation. c) Submit your family paragraph, if you have not yet. d) Practice conversation questions. e) Practice reading 22 pinyin sentences.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (12/15/14)

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of Chinese greeting terms. 2) I can explore origami.
Homework: Review 20 Chinese characters.
1. 1) Quick review (26 greeting terms + 20 Chinese characters). Return 12 Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Origami time. Collect for participation grade.
2. 1) Quiz #1. 2) If time allows, browse try puzzles.
