Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (12/17/14)

Objectives: 1) I can introduce my family members by making a recording and uploading it onto my speaking avatar. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese. 3) I can sing Christmas songs in Chinese.

Homework: Complete uploading your audio file by the end of class period.

Procedure:

1.  1) Daily greeting routine. 2) Get a microphone and headset. Use audacity program to make your recording, export as MP3 or .WAV file and save the file in your H drive. Upload your audio file for Voki.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (12/17/14)

Objectives: 1) I can count and recognize characters from zero to one hundred in Chinese. 2) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese tea and Chinese lucky and unlucky numbers. 3) I can explore tangram pieces game.

Homework: Quiz #2 (20 Chinese characters): Friday, 12/19.

Procedure:

1.  1) Quick review (20 characters). 2) Count from zero to one hundred. 3) Culture reading: Chinese tea / lucky and unlucky numbers. Showcase a picture without 4th floor, and various types of tea and tea sets.

2.  Video clip: Chinese tea. 2) Tangram game (day 1).
