Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (12/19/14)

Objectives: 1) I can sing Christmas songs in Chinese. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.
Homework: N/A
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Revised bell schedule today (42 or 40 minutes / class period) and double 3rd period. Go to auditorium at the end of the 3P. Mrs. Boyne’s students will visit and do Spanish Christmas caroling at the end of 1P/4P. 2) Teach new characters (保, 保护, 保罗, 丽). 3) Christmas song time.
2. 1) Conversation practice. 2) (4P/8P) Modeling.


Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (12/19/14)

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of knowing 20 Chinese picture and number characters. 2) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese tea culture and teenagers in China.
Homework: N/A
1. 1) Teach new term (jia, you, # ge ren). 2) Write sentence #3. Read sentences #1-#3. 3) Quiz #2.
2. 1) Culture reading: Chinese tea house / popular pastime for teenagers in China. 2) Newspaper hunting activity.
