Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (2/5/15)

 Objectives: 1) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 2) I can play interactive Ni Hao game and quizlet vocabulary game to prepare my chapter test. 3) I can create a PPT slide(s) about my pet(s). 4) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese animals through viewing enrichment videos.

Homework: 1) Study for your chapter test tomorrow. 2) Lesson Seven character worksheet is due tomorrow.


  1. While Ms. Chang conducts oral exam: 1) 2) Edit and Google Docs share with Ms. Chang your pet slide(s) + your birthday + your profession). 2) Play quizlet game, 3) Go to I drive, click Chang folder, Ni Hao 3rd game, and play lesson 7 game.
  2. Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P/5P (2/5/15)


Objectives: 1) I can say simple Chinese greeting terms. 2) I can say and write numbers in Chinese. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese characters and Chinese chopsticks. 4) I can have hands-on experience working with chopsticks.

Homework: 1) Review 21 learned greeting terms and 11 Chinese characters. 2) Chinese character writing assignment.


1.   1) Return 8 picture word writing assignment papers. Makeup work (3P: Matt, Patryk, Brooke; 5P: Jarrod). Show your 2nd product for grade, please. 2) Quick review (17 greeting terms + 8 picture characters). 3) Teach new terms (qi li, jing li, zuo xia, qing zuo). 4) Teach new characters (one, two, three).

2.   1) Video clips: sun / moon / person + (5P) chopsticks. 2) Chopsticks activity.
