Procedures for 2/23/15

Procedure for MS 1P / 4P / 8P (2/23/15)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about nationality and language skills. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 3) I can comprehend and read text passages fluently.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Practice conversation questions. 3) Vocabulary quiz: Wednesday, 2/25/15. 4) Countries around the World worksheet due tomorrow.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Makeup work (1P: Guenever, Chris; 4P: Ethan P., Kylie S., Eric C., Evan B., Kerry; 8P: Maddie). Cook tomorrow. Write down and give Ms. Chang the list of your 4-5 group members by the end of the class period. Evan B. talks to Ms. Chang, please. Library event? 2) Quick review. 3) Captains check WB page 49/51. Go over answer key.
  2. 1) Go over new characters and usage (对, 不对, 起, 起立, 对不起, 关系, 没关系, 咦, 得, 里) / sentence pattern. 2) Read text pages 66-68. 3) Conversation question practice + Q/A.

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (2/23/15)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can brainstorm ideas for my art project.   3) I can showcase my mastery of Chinese counting principle.

Homework: 1) Practice reading sentences #1-#4. 2) Brainstorm ideas for your art project.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Quick review (ten Chinese number characters). 2) Counting from zero to one hundred. 3) Teach terms (baba, mama, gege, jiejie, didi, meimei, he, liang). 4) Write sentence #4. 5) Read sentences #1-#4.
  2. 1) (3P) Showcase one PPT art project sample. 2) Quiz #3.
