Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (3/12/15)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about sports. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. 3) I can read text passages and characters accurately and proficiently. 4) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese traditional sport through viewing a video clips.

Homework: 1) Skit presentation: Monday, 3/16/15. 2) Practice conversation questions.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Turn in your skit checklist and hard copy. (4P) Showcase movie unit story map student work. Will go over possible answers next week. 2) Quick review. 3) Introduce sentence patterns.
  2. 1) (4P/8P) Read text pages: 77-79. 2) Conversation question Q/A. 3) Video clip: Chinese yo-yo. 4) (8P) view library event pictures / New Year caroling video.
  3. 1) (1P) Type your skit. 2) (2nd 8P) Movie time / YouTube top videos.


 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (3/12/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can say greeting terms in Chinese. 2) I can complete a China reading packet.
Homework: 1) Quiz #1: Monday, 3/23/15. 2) Review 3 greeting terms.
Procedure:

1. 1) Any signature slip? China reading packet is due at the end of the class today.   (3P: Harmony / Jasmina; 5P: Heesung) talk to Ms. Chang, please. 2) Quick review. 3) Teach new terms (ni shi, wo shi).

2. Pair activity / independent work: complete your China reading packet.
