Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (3/13/15)

 

Objectives: 1) I can talk about sports. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions. Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Practice conversation questions. 3) Lesson Nine vocabulary quiz: Friday, 3/20/15. Lesson Nine chapter test: Monday, 3/23/15, Lesson Nine oral exam: Tuesday, 3/24/15.   Skit presentation: Monday, 3/16/15.

Procedure:

  1. 1) Daily greeting routine. Model UN students, please check your e-mail over this weekend for your Chinese assignments on next Monday and Tuesday. 2) Quick review. 3) Teach new characters (乒, 乓, 走, 喂, 忙, 吧, 桌).
  2. 1) Video clip: (1P) Chinese Yo-Yo.  2) Conversation question practice Q/A. 3) View library event pictures / View Chinese New Year caroling videos.


 Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (3/13/15)

 Objectives: 1) I can say simple greeting terms in Chinese. 2) I can write simple Chinese characters. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about Chinese characters and major cities.

Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Review 6 learned greeting terms + 2 Chinese characters.

Procedure:

1.   1) An audio file will be sent to your e-mail account this afternoon. Makeup work (3P: Jasmina, Harmony, Mitchell; 5P: Heesung, Dylan G., Kyle). 2) Quick review (3 greeting terms ). 3) Teach terms (Zai Jian, Wu An, Wan An). 4) Introduce square papers. 5) Teach two characters (mountain, wood).

2.   Video clips: mountain / (5P) Beijing.
