Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (3/23/15)

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of Lesson Nine materials. 2) I can ask and answer simple conversation questions.
Homework: 1) Practice conversation questions for oral exam tomorrow. 2) Lesson Ten character definitions.
Procedure:
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. (HR) Please bring in socks for Huddle Jr. / Turn in your WB for Ms. Chang, please. Turn in your Lesson Nine character worksheet. Check your e-mail account for a retake application form, if needed. Check out classroom that you need to report to at study hall time tomorrow (NHS Freshmentoring). (1P: Phoebe, Chris, and Britney; 4P: Kerry, Ethan M., Kylie S.; 8P: Matt) talk to Ms. Chang, please. Return papers. Report to room Lab 2 tomorrow. 2) Any questions? Lesson Nine chapter test.
2. 1) Lesson Ten character definitions. 2) Conversation questions practice.

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (3/23/15)

Objectives: 1) I can showcase my mastery of greetings unit. 2) I can say and write numbers in Chinese. 3) I can gain cultural knowledge about (3P) Chinese chopsticks and daily routine in Chinese schools.
Homework: 1) Review (3P) 17/ (5P) 15 Chinese characters. 2) Chinese character writing assignment.
Procedure:
1. 1) Quick review (26 greeting terms). 2) Quiz #1.
2. 1) Quick review (characters). 2) Teach new characters (3P: seven, eight, nine; 5P: four, five, six, seven).
3. 1) Video clips: A Day in Chinese Schools / (3P) Chopsticks.
