Procedure for MS Chinese I 1P / 4P / 8P (3/3/15)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about sports. 2) I can review and solidify my grammar knowledge. 3) I can review all learned characters in 3rd quarter.
Homework: 1) Chinese character writing assignment. 2) Know all 5 characters by Thursday.
Procedure:
1. 1) Daily greeting routine. 2. 1) Teach new characters (喜欢, 欢喜, 球, 篮球, 篮子, 棒球, 球棒, 棒子, 木棒). 2) (4P) Song time / red envelopes.

 

Procedure for MS Exploratory Chinese 3P / 5P (3/3/15)

Objectives: 1) I can talk about myself in Chinese. 2) I can gain knowledge about the significance of learning Chinese in America and Chinese martial arts. 3) I can showcase my mastery of colors in Chinese.
Homework: 1) Art project is due tomorrow. 2) Oral presentation starts on 3/5. 3) Bring in your work and use Exploratory Chinese class as a study hall time from Wednesday to Friday. No locker break, please.
Procedure:
1. 1) Quick review. 2) Read sentences #1-#10. 3) Quiz #4.
2. 1) Video clips: Chinese martial arts (boxes + weapons) + Chinese program in America. 2) (3P) Introduce pictures from Chinese class cooking lesson.
